Very classic and classy indeed! Congrats!

Sometimes I'm thinking that's all that any bass player need, 4 strings, single H and simple preamp control, just in case...

That opinion reminds me on my last Saturday gig when I was using just H pickup whole night long, added some treble and avoiding low B string! (place where we played was horrible acoustically, so only one tone setting was right to cut through)

They had 1 (white, maple) of these between the 2 GC's in my area. I demo'd it yesterday for about 45 minutes.

I'm SOLD! Although I am going to patiently wait for the deluxe version, in the finish I want (powder blue) and 5 string.

    My 2008 3EQ Stingray's days are numbered!

The 2 band is really unique, not intuitive that it is boost/ cut with no center detent to someone new to the Stingrays. BTW, have one like yours I bought a couple of weeks ago, really diggin' it. Enjoy!

One of the best parts of this bass is the fact that I had a 15% off coupon that G.C. is offering this weekend for thier presidents sale. I don't want to put it down but I have to go to work. Here is pic.

Thanks big poppa! You and all your staff did a great job!

I'm already quite fine with my pre-eb and EBMM 2 banders but the Classics really are calling my name. I'm digging those 60's finishes big time. good thing I don't have the funds right now (just placed an order for two Aguilar DB112s in Boss Tweed) as I'll probably won't be able to decide which finish to pick anyway.

one thing though - I'd definitely put a Tort guard on the Mint Green.
