If it's a bass that was built for an artist, you mean?

It annoys BP but that isn't on you.

In general, these sorts of claims turn out to be....oh, what's the word I'm looking for? Ah, yes - horse poop.

    But you never know.

Well Endorsed Basses that People sell always Piss Me Off and this is why.

In most Cases Endorsed basses are "FREE" or at Cost. The idea is for the Artist to be seen playing the bass.
#1 Artist gets what he wants
#2 The Company gets what they need- The instrument seen by many.

I have never sold or will never sell the Stuff I have got Free when I was on the road because in my heart it's still not mine, yes i did my deed while using it but to sell and make a Profit off it when it was given to me free is wrong.
When I had my Peavey deal in the 80's I offered all the Amps back when i decided to go with GK, they declined and said no just sell them or keep them. That was their call.

I'd rather just give the instrument or Amp Back. It's not right to profit on a good deal situation.
Plus when these Artist sell their Endorsements these Companies are less likely to want to give Endorsements in the future to maybe someone who may deserve one, So it hurts the players and the Companies all the way around.
    Just my 2 cents worth.

As someone who has received a gift from Ernie Ball.. It feels like an endorsement. I can honestly say my balls are my balls. I felt the need to ask for permission before i traded Bongo for Stingray. I can't imagine any of my Music Man Equipment leaving me at this point. They are all too special...

+1 minus the whole being endorsed part, but if anyone at EBMM wants to do so lol Either way it's wrong to sell or trade off something you get for free period no matter where it's from.
