Inside of a 1977 Pickup Cavity

Hey folks I know you've asked many times to see what the Old 1977 Pickups from a Stingray Looked Like well here ya go. The reason why the Long Magnets we're stopped was there was too much pull on the string and in a lot of cases made the Bass sound out of tune. But here's a few photos.

Great to see but Glad they are gone.

cool to see the pickup split apart.. i never tried that with mine

    MrM
just put flats on the bongo!!
just put roundwounds on your fretless!!

    trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!
