Thanks Dave, we must be some of the very few people with these 25th Annivesary basses in UK & Ireland.

However you are one lucky son-of-a-gaelic because you've got the boss to make that happen for you. So f//////// lucky!

black with tort PG or burst with black PG.
Seeing as the Big Als are Mahogany I wish they offered a trans red for the Big AL. Trans red with a black PG, I love how that combo looks on a bass/guitar.

If wishes were fishes we'd all go down to Petco and buy some Desert Gold(fish).

    Note the Bongoesque shape...

Lord, sometimes I crack myself up. And I'm sure I'm the only one.

Now I can't get the thought of a Desert Gold Big Al SSS with black pickguard out of my head...

The proof! - the wait begins

When I got home tonight I have found an envelope in the mail box containing the receipt for the deposit paid to the store where I have ordered my Big Al 5 SSS.

For the time being, this piece of paper represents the beginning of a long journey...

Intially was against the "Black" since I have a few black colored basses. I picked the "Candy Red with white pg / maple board". But afyer seeing the pic in black w/ the tort-shell pickguard that looks sweet. I am also a sucker for maple fretboards.

The bad news is that the shop I have ordered it with has been told the following:

"The order time will be around 20 weeks approx."

That's 5 months. Guess what? I have no rush whatsoever. There's a 25th, a Bongo, a Stingray that'll keep me busy in the meantime.
I received the decal and what a cool one it is! I really am blown away by the 25th you sent with it. You are the best Grand Wazoo!
