White Classic StingRay - Lewisville, TX

For whoever may be interested. The Guitar Center in Lewisville, Texas just unboxed a Classic StingRay, in white with white pickguard, maple fretboard and a glossy neck. The figure on the neck is pretty but it's not birdseye maple if that is a requirement. As of last night, the bass was absolutely as-new. It hadn't been out long enough to be abused. It's a very stunning bass. I was tempted to return my Slo special but I like the Slo too much.

Pretty much like that, except with a white pickup cover. I stopped by to look at it today.

    A kinder, gentler collection...

this is a '90 Ray I've got from Todd 4ta. very close to the early Rays except the top-loader bridge. Very nice figured opm neck but not spectacular...
