I went to an audiologist, got molds made and had a pair of Westone UM56 tips made to fit the Shure SCL5s
The result was dramatic
Isolation wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better
Fit super comfortable, doesn't move
And the bass is infinitely better. I can almost "feel" the bass as my head resonates
Much better way to hear my Musicman

Used a (properly hooked up) Aviom this last Sunday for the first time. Also used my SR5 for the first time on stage. I have a pair of SkullCandy 'buds and they really produced the low end quite well. I'm running the rig through a SansAmp BDDI (close to their SVT setup, volume at 25%) and it sounded great in the in-ear.
I DID boost bass on the Aviom controller and cut the treble just a bit.![]()

I got the above custom ear molds about a year and half ago..and I'm so happy with them...they are the dual driver model..w/ a sure cheap psm200 and it works great..has never failed me!
the audio-ologist(sp?) cost 20 bucks to pour the molds..which you send to the above compay for the build of the in ear monitors...
