    Love it - both of them, actually - but the Bongo a little bit more since it sooo begs for bright colours, and really shines when it wears an upfront paint job!

    I really hope we'll see some fresh finishes for summer NAMM ... the used market sometimes offers nice looking Bongo 4s, and there's always the slightly mad option to book a flight to florida, but then I'd really prefer to be able to get my hands on a new (and warranted) instrument, given the price.

    Well, one can hope, right? *sigh*

    nice one oli. i had a fretted version of that a while ago


    this bass is great, it plays so easily. i wish i was able to play in tune though

    Give it some time! It will come! Just keep playing it instead of your fretted basses whenever you can for a couple of months. Fretless is such a great tone to add to your arsenal!


    PS: Don't look at the lines too much but listen instead. I also found playing to some CDs easier than playing all alone.
