Help: My Stingray went passive

Hi everybody,

I`ve been watching this forum for a while, and now I finally registered in here because of a bad reason, my stingray HH went passive. The only sound that comes out of it is very low and the onboard EQ doesn't work, and I can remove the battery and the same sound keeps coming out of it. Yes, I changed the battery for a new Duracell and the problem persists. Does anybody have any idea about what happened to my ray?

have you checked the wiring to see if a wire came loose?

No, I am going to open and check it tomorrow. I am disapointed because I had a gig yesterday and had to use other bass than the stingray

happened to me a few months back, one of the wires from the bottom of the battery box was disconnected.
