    I remember seeing a similarly jaw-dropping bird's eye pattern on a fretless honeyburst Stingray 4-string at a local store many years ago (around '93). While I was young and wouldn't have had the money at the time anyway, it still stands out as a "stand out" bass in my memory.

    Wow...what a beauty... Im lovin my Classic 4...had my 1st live test today and it KILLED...Only gripe is the weight...right around the 10lb mark..I have opted to go with Flats this go around and pleasently surprised on how close to the tone in my head this combo is.

    I started to get ache in my neck gigging with my Classic initially (it's 9.8 pounds) I seem to have cured this by making sure my strap is in a sensible position on my shoulder at the start of a gig and maybe my neck muscles have toned because it's not an issue now.
