    Hey Mark, is this better?

Well, at least I thing he'll like this better. I told him that I would replace my Hartke rig when I found something that I thought was substantially better. It's all on it's way here. A BBE BMax T pre amp connected to a Carvin DCM1000 amp driving a Schroeder 21012 cabinet. I played this set up last weekend and I loved it so much that I found a buyer for my rig and got on Ebay for the pre and amp. I'm real high on Jorg Schroeder's cabinets. They are awesome.
Starting to think about returning to bass playing in the very near future.

I've heard excellent reports about the Schroeder cabs, and Carvin power amps are rock solid. The BBE pre also gets decent reviews. The beauty of your new rig is that you can expand with an additional cab if and when needed, as well as upgrade your preamp down the road if you get GAS for tube tone.

I would have to be playing a stadium to need more than that 21012 will put out. It has a huge sound!
