Thumbs up Assistance: Looking to restore bass; pots vary from mainstream availability.

I've gutted my old bass & found pots to be 47k & 220k, for which replacements aren't readily available to me. I was wondering what kind of alterations to sound, pitch, etc.. I can expect from using 50 & 250k in their stead?

I have not yet begun searching for replacements of the other electronic components including capacitors on the toggle switch nor whatever ties the tone & volume pot together.

Additionally is there a particular standard wire to use (gauge / composition), I have some copper wire left over from another project I intend to use.

IIRC the "precision" tolerance on most pots is about
+/- 20%, so you're talking about no difference at all.
