Daddy & Son jammin' at home! (reflex bass video content)

    Hi guys,

I'm really proud of my 14 years old son Tony, he's every day better and better guitar player, check this amateur home video recorded with vintage VHS-C camera and auto-level controlled crappy microphone :

It was really fun to play these standards, my son still ain't got a band, so he's got slight rhythmic problems, but I tried to help him to get over it!

Great video, keko! The sound quality is just fine and you sound great together! But then again: having a MM hold the bottom usually makes every other musician sound great! ;-)

Why don't you two find a drummer and form your own power trio? I bet the Turkish March would sound awesome with a drummer!

Yes, there's one band from Bosnia who plays such an arrangement of Turkish March in a hard rock version with drummer of course (Divlje Jagode) and that sounds really great, but point was here to meke short show off video for my son so he can upload it on the facebook, ...You know he's in a hunt for a band ...etc.
So I tried to help him to play some music, that's all!

Ha, ha... ...well, ...maybe, but that was a battle without drums and I really tried to keep the right timing, 'cause my kid doesn't have enough (at all) experience with group playing, ...etc.

Yeah feels good, but he's got really many more laps to go until we could play together in a right way!
That's life, he's young enough to reach the sky in the future!

By the way, one of my son's dream guitar is EBMM JPX-6, ...I told Ya guys...kids knows what's worth!

Great tone, the both of you! Playing without a click track or a drummer, pretty tough, great job! Your son is good, easily could get a gig here in denver.

It's one of the few places where we can very quickly be on a level playing field with our children. As soon as they get to a modest level of proficiency the barriers dissappear and the magic happens.
