I don't think I can really add anything that hasn't already been said other than my 4H Bongos have made me be a better bassist. I have two of them - The roasty strung with EB flats and the Blue Dawn strung with Slinkys.
I'm sure you can find them out there in Canada. My Blue Dawn came from Jim (gearhunter), so they must be floating about somewhere up there.

Smart move ... adding the piezo.It will be a Bongo year for me, mine is on order. I have just changed the order (setting me back another month or so) to an Hp. I have been enjoying my 5HSp with the piezo as part of the mix. Gotta have the piezo on the 4H!!!! Haven't updated my signature yet. Can't wait to get it

My Rays I play piezo-only, "neglecting" the fabled
MM PU, but the Boingo H is hugely different, cuz
there's a sooper majic at or near the 50/50 and
60/40 piezo/MM mix. Just doesn't happen that way
with the SRs.
Now, if it's still not too late, set yourself back one
more month. Call EBMM and cancel the frets !
