NEW!! SUB Series Basses from Sterling by Music Man

We are very happy to introduce our newest line of guitars & basses that target the sub $300 price points.

The SUB Series will be available in May/June and features your favorite Music Man designs at more affordable pricing. After almost 4 years of producing Sterling by Music Man, we learned a lot and have improved our instruments in the mid range price point over the years. Now we want to make great affordable instruments available to all players, beginner or advanced - the SUB Series will get you there for less!

Ray 4 - a Vintage style Stingray w/ 2 band active preamp, humbucking bass pickup. Maple necks w/ maple (BK) or rosewood (WH & WS) fingerboards. Killer basses for the money, the Walnut satin finish is very nice.

Ray 5 - 5 string bass based on the Ray35/SR5. 2 band active preamp, hum bucking bass pickup. Maple neck & fingerboard.

These are really nice instruments at starter/beginner pricing with quality that exceeds the price point. I hope you get a chance to check these out when they ship in May/June.

Definitely looking forward to these basses coming out. I'm interested to see how they compare to the Sterling by Music Man basses.

I am going to get one. I wanted to leave an affordable bass at a friends house for when we practice there. Sometimes I go there straight from work and don't have time to pick up my bass. (I am NOT leaving an expensive bass in a car all day). One of these will fit the bill perfectly!

uhhh, that Walnut Satin finish…unreal. Perhaps one of the more impressive finishes I've seen and felt.

    Bump. Repeat.

They look like they have the same bridges the OLPs used.

the body woods and the level of hardware are where we saved. These will be made in the same factory, line as the SBMM premium line. We have a lot of experience "behind the scenes" and really have great relationships with the best parts makers and suppliers.
