How's it going, man? I was in Florida last week, but the wrong part so I couldn't stop in...
All is well over here! What part of Florida were you in? How's the family doing?

Does anyone know the procedure for repair? (I.e, stripping that area and rebuilding the layers) - is it worth doing? Or more trouble than its worth?
As mentioned, you could seal it with nail polish which works very well. If you actually want to repair the crack then I would say it's more pain that it's worth.

What you can do is sand down those cracks in the body and be careful as to not go through the finish. Then finish sand the whole body with 600g and lay down a new clear. If you're going to go the spray can route I recommend this stuff. I've done a number of guitar bodies with this when I didn't have access to a booth and it's worked flawlessly.
