I'm going to have to wait to get a Bongo! :(

Oh heck. I have too many commitments including moving house and needing a new car, so unfortunately my dream Bongo is going to have to be put on hold.

I was thinking of a Tangerine Pearl HH or HS, in a 4 or 5, with a white pearl guard.

It would look stunning, I know.

I have decided to play it safe and save up most of it before ordering, and I'll give it until the 10th anniversary/new tuners, then Im pouncing on one!

I have a stunning set of Musicman basses, so I can't complain. I just wanted one more!

Oh well, here is a countdown to the 10th anniversary and hopefully the cool new tuners!

The new tuners are already available. Just look for yourself on any Bongo (same for Big Al) product page:

Waiting until you have the money is a very wise move. A house is worth going into debt for. A guitar is not.

Worry not... Bongos, being made of extreterrestrial alloys mixed with pure mojo, have no known expiration date. It'll keep.

But it will haunt you until you order one.

I totally agree ... but going into debt for a bass is completely different thing, ain't it?
