The white ones do look nice, but there's nothing wrong with rolls burgundy ....

Yeah, I didn't think I liked that finish until I finally saw decent photos (that one, specifically) of it.

Scott, after owning Stingray 4's and 5's and a couple really nice Sterlings, I can say with complete honesty that while the others are very nice basses, the Bongo will be everything they are and more.

I really liked my Bongo until I got to do some recording with it and play it with a band. Now I adore my Bongo. No joke! It fits the bill sonically every time. Of course, some people don't like the way they look, and that's fine, but this bass will deliver every time you ask it to.

    Yes, Bongos are teh l33t.

'specially nekkid Bongos! I'm seeing a Bongo fiver sometime in my future, just don't know when. I craves me some low, San Andreas fault shakin' notes! (And with the Bongo preamp, I know it's posible. )

Ive seen yours in a few pics as well as bovines, big pappas,(the guy in the srgt pepper suit)and the thought of desert gold started to grow on me.My music teacher has a SR5 single in a gold color.I saw him perform with it tuesday and was awsome to hear and see him play that instrument. So all those influences are to blame.

I am eyeballing bovines carbon blue 4 on ebay as well.I would like to have a darker bongo as well. The mood thing working here.lol

Tomorrow will be the first time for me to hold and play a bongo.
