    Bongo with Wooden Pickguard Pics

    Thanks guys. I sent the original White Ice pickguard to him so he could trace the outlines perfectly. Not an easy task, with two p'up cutouts, a neck cutout, and the screw holes. Worth the wait though.

    Jason, no problem. I can meet up with you sometime. Actually, I'm gonna try to come out and see your band in the near future. I can show it to you then.

    Hello FireAarro. The Bongo is actually the Desert Gold color. The pickguard is what George calls Tri-Color Fade.

    It was $25, and that included shipping cost. That's a great price for a handmade, one-of-a-kind wooden pickguard, don't you think? My Bongo was the first he had made a pickguard for, so I sent the original p/g to him so he could get the exact tracing. But he has already done StingRays, so you won't have to do that.

    I suppose I first emailed him through his order form, which is located under the link "Online Ordering". He then emailed me back. You don't have to pay him in advance, so this procedure works fine.
