I know that the ones on stage are quite crappy but again I have an ultra cheapo digital camera. I will try to get the other ones as well, I promise!!

I have also included 2 pics of my Sterling in its pre-Miller life....

    ENJOY!!!

I also remembered that the MAD magazine gives a FREE three year subscription to the readers who got photos of themselves with celebrities!

OK EBMM, instead of a free SUB-Scription could you please give me a free SUB-Sterling fretless ? After all I made you proud in front of an audience full of Fender fans.....

That's awesome Manta! Seriously, and does Marcus Always wear that hat? In either case, way to show 'em how it's done.

    Way cool.

You might have to stick with that 3 string playing. Popping the D...!

One of my friends was a room mate with Marcus back in the 70s in NY, and produced sessions w/ Marcus back then, and says he's a very cool, laid back, regular guy....who also happens to be a total virtuoso!

    Thanks for the replies guys!!!

The 3 string bass was not on purpose!

I always play using 4 strings.

The thing is that I broke the G and I didn't wanna spend any money on a new set the last couple of weeks(I sound like Scrooge I know) because I'm buying stuff for my studio back home so every penny is important.

The good thing when breaking a string is that actually you can learn the instrument better if you keep practicing without replacing it. At least it works for me. Also that way, if during a slap solo on a gig a string breaks(unlikely but anyway) you can continue like nothing ever happened impressing even more the audience.

For the rest of the photos, I went over to SC yesterday(the guys there remebered me and my playing!whoa I'm a celebrity! ) and they told me that apart from the individuals, most of the pictures were taken by Fender and EBS. Actually it was a Fender organized event in which I made EBMM proud !!!

BTW, I didn't get any reply about the SUB Fretless......

Three strings was good enough for Tony Levin.

Seems that the custom made 3 string SR is now in "flame burnt" finish...
