A few of us here could use a "Special Olympic" model bass.
Starting to think about returning to bass playing in the very near future.

Only one problem JB I think the Olympic rings are actually copyright....or trade mark.
But you can imagine it sure would be a sweet bass - mind you no problems changing the colours down the bass to look like a slice of each ring - if you get what I mean.....

Yep. Oldbluebassman reported yesterday about a gig in honor of the 200 th aniversary of the french defeat in Trafalgar by the Bristish navy. The olympic games in London area new trafalgar defeat for some of my fellows (for those who don't know, Paris was the other town hopping for the olympic games).

As I'm not interested in any way by the summer olympic games (really prefer the winter ones) i dont feel sad about that (but of course i'm not going to buy the LE London 2012 Bongo because i won't be allowed to play it in public !).

Ha, ha, buy some and boil them to get white shirts !

But London will have to reconsider the fees you need pay to access the center of town with a car, or no one will come in 2012 !

if that's the case then how about an Olympic test run up the coast in Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics! and the themed guitars: a "Luge Luke", "Super G Sterling", "Bobsled Bongo", "Freestyle Moguls Madden", "Slalom StingRay" , "Downhill Lee", "Ice Dancing Petrucci"....

ok, I gotta go brew some coffee.............

trying hard not to mention anything about entering the states. Bush's comment was priceless about immigration control for athletes......
