Can You No Longer Receive PMs?

Yes, it's true, if you exceed your storage capacity, even if you are the leader of a premier musical instrument builder in San Luis Obispo, guess what? You, father of Dargin, can no longer get PMs!

So I don't want to name names, Sterling, or use anyone's moniker here, Big Poppa, but someone (owner of company) needs to delete some PMs in order to continue to exchange privileged information about lipstick pickups, Biff.

    Not to worry!

All this is friendly banter unless someone owns something really horrid, like a Parker Fly or something.

Explain the Xerox thang.....you mean like EBMM copies?

Those PFB's are fugly, no? I like the guitars, but it just don't translate to bass-form.

Like you say tho BP, KP tried, huh?

I absolutely loved the original Parker Bass. The concept of a hard shell on an ultralight core with state of the art components was ahead of its time.

Unfortunately, in the ensuing 10 years between initial design and product release, it turned into just another bass. I give him props for doing something different (and I still think the headstock is cool--love those sperzel tuners), though.

Tom Hamilton plays one live from time to time, and others love them, so more power to them.
Big Al 5SSS Sunburst, rosewood fretboard, tort, EB Flats

Franken-Bongo 5 HHp (The Billy Bass), daphne blue, mint pickguard, EB flatwound strings

Franken-Bongo 5 SHp (aka Moby Dick, the White Whale), black fretted neck with a abalone pickguard, EB Slinkys and a BassMute.
