It must cost you a fortune in strings does it?
How do you house them eg a special room for all your basses
Do you have a favourite one?

    thanks

Well i Have a Few, I have a green one with a bound body, matching head i love,
a cherry burst with a bound body that is amazing, the green is a 6 bolt, the cherry a 4.

The new Bongo has raised my eye brows tho, Even though i will Die a EB Stingray man, the Bongo is at every show i do and yes i play it, I have the 2 pickup model.

I have the best walk in storage ever, these Basses are meant to be played and they get played.
    Thanks Dave J

The Green Bound Ray was custom done for a Nashville guy, the cherry burst was done for a 1985 Namm Show.

    Hey Dave,

This is big poppa...aka Biff baby

I am so glad you are here. Would you please take over tuesday morning torture until I tell you to stop? Search big poppas forum and you will see that I post some interesting things. Post one a week and I will comment on the posting and we can all share in the uniqueness of the different basses.

Dave knows as much as anyone on the planet about our stuff. I would not consider playing Music Man trivial pursuit with him. He a passionate, loyal, died in the wool Music Man guy.

I want to take the time to thank Dave for posting his collection and knowledge with us.; Anyone who takes shots at him will be tortured by yours truly. Somebody asked why....Dave shares and plays each and every one of them and in a way he is kind of like the Smithsonian for our stuff.

    start with the GREEN one/

Dave Jeffrey. I have run across you before on the internet and am awfully glad to have you here with us. Where did I hear your name? The Dudepit? Can't remember, I'm old.

Anyway, Dave, if you want to email me any interesting photos to torture the guys with, I'll be glad to host them and post them here for you.

A little bird told me you have some fascinating things.

    Welcome!

    Jack
