How about the picture of the neckplate? Can you tell if the cutaway's been moved by aligning it with the bolts?

    I don't think so.

This whole Stardome crap of who's bass it really is or was Just doesn't Justify big money unless your just a hudge fan of the artist and you want his or hers bass and your willing to pay crazy money for it.

Owning Jaco's bass will not make you play like Joco, but having it in the same house where you live would be Killer but at what cost.

I once owned a 1963 Surf Green Fender Precision Bass with the original Receipt saying something like Fender Musical Instruments sent to Beach Boy Enterprizes
    back in 63.
The receipt was cool just to show where it was sent to and the fact Brian Wilson got it free was neat.

But i sold it for what a 63 Surf Green P Bass went for, Tried hard not to rape some poor fan for $60,000 because it was his.

...I would have to agree with Randracula. Not only that, I'm pretty OCD when it comes to my instruments, and that's why I always special order (I only use stuff on the shelf to demo what I'm interested in). I hold gear that has had paws all over it at a lesser value than gear fresh from the factory.
    Mr. Light

You should always B sharp, never B flat, and just B natural.

I see instruments as Tools as if you we're a carpenter, Some are prettier then others, some hammers are heavier then others for different jobs.

So for the style of music you play one finds the tools that work for him or her and you buy them all, hehehehe Just kidding, you at least furnish your self with all the colors you like.

The Drag with Ebay or Internet Basses is you always gamble if their gonna suck or sound good once you get them.

The duds I just either donate to a Church or a local School and the good ones I keep. DJ

Without posting street prices...for what GC is asking on this bass...I could *easily* pick up my new Bongo HS in three of my favorite finishes...

...and still have plenty of money left for a couple of rounds (beer, not golf).

I think he made some other company build him a bass that was just like his EBMM's, so he's probably prohibited from hanging here even if he wanted to
