    Tuesday's Torture...

This is a picture of an Earthwood acoustic prototype. Dan Norton says there were a total of 8 built. This one is stamped "003". All were made out of mahagony, had the earthwood acoustic necks, tuning keys, and aluminum bridges. It is a string through body too. I have no idea how old the flats on this bass are, but this is probably one of the boomiest basses I've ever heard. It is the idea reggae bass.

Dang cool looking bass, you said it was acoustic? Looks like a solid body from that pic. What sort of pickup is it?

Haha, sorry my bad. It is a solid body electric. We did use acoustic Earthwood parts on the basses though.

The only info I know is that it's obviously a single coil.

I generally don't like single cut basses but this one I like. The big "E" on the headstock looks so cool.
