Go West, anyone? Pino killed with them too!
Pino's resume is long, If you go to www.allmusic.com you can get discography on most artists and players.
Yeah and I auditioned Big P back in the 70's when he changed from guitar to Bass.
He was playing in a band in the New Moon Cardiff called "Trapper". - he had one of those Gibson "Look alike" 6/12 double neck guitars. John Sloman was on vocals and "Muggsy" on Drums who went on to play with "Lone Star" (70's band not the 90's band!)
Oh and Pino didn't get the position.
He went on to become the most sought after session man and me .............
Saw him a couple of years ago after a gig in Cardiff, we had a good chat and a laugh about the audition.
He is a real nice guy.
