Good link...but some of the pages won't load for me. Maybe the browser I use...

    Some others FWIW:

    http://www.fretnotguitarrepair.com/E...itarRepair.htm
    http://www.frets.com/FRETSPages/pagelist.html

It may very well be that you're doing exactly the right thing.
I've found that I need to adjust my trussrod at least twice a year, when the weather changes. On the bass i have now, three swings of the wrench (which adds up to somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 turn) always does the trick. YMMV....

There also are some other things that might be happening, like a high fret (do you get buzzing only in one place on the fretboard?) or improper neck tilt, etc. etc. Those more qualified and less given to sesquipedalianism* than I should comment.

I have nothing to add except to say "thanks" for the new snooty word to drag out at parties.

    Urwords..

Did you intentionally dodge BP's question as to whether or not you're still coming to the Open House? Or didn't you get that far reading his post?

Online pool sounds cool, as long as you're talking billiard-type pool. If it's somewhere for people to "virtually" hang out in their Speedos, I think I'd run screaming...
