I'm looking for a little input.



Has anybody ever played one of these Icemans? This is a Paul Stanly model and i'm thinking about picking it up. I was wondering what the neck was like on them. Historicaly, Ibeanez necks have had a pretty good feel to me, I figure this guitar would be the same.

I'm a huge KISS fan and i'm thinking about this guitar for an investment and as a player. I have always loved the looks of these guitars! I can get it for $1000 out the door!



Anyway, what do you'all think?

Cool. Investment - depends if it's Japan made or Korean. A Korean sold last week on ebay for $1800 IIRC, and it was owned by Paul Stanley.

That is a PS-10II and Korean. I have a PS-10 IC100BLK 20th Anni model made in Japan. Very well made. The neck is thicker and clubbier than the typical Ibanez neck, but has a good feel. They are designed to sound like Les Pauls. They are good for a Les Paul sounding guitar. Not super versatile. I had a Les Paul Custom many years ago and the PS-10 is much better. Never played the Korean model though. I doubt it would be very well made. I don't play mine very much because it gets kind of boring. The tone is kind of one dimensional. My Petrucci is much more alive sounding to me.

You know, that's exactly the way I feel about my Les Paul - it got too one dimensional.
