i don't change the original color

    the brown is egyptian smoke
    the blue is Luke blue
i use density+ in photoshop.it accentuate color with natural effect.
i would like to add texture like translucent quilted top and burst but i dont know the good manipulation.the result on the brown is not very realistic

i love colors of the LUKE but alder have not a figured grain to have translucent color
exept vintage sunburst. My dream was QUILTED OR FLAMED TOP perhaps one day...
iI would like that this pics help B.P to produce theses sort of finishes on Luke models.

perhaps LUKE himself have to be agree to add new finishes...

    bye

Dude, your probably right. I'd love to see the Luke Blueish one as an LE color, that would be so mint. Though since the Luke Blue is Lukes personal color.

But if you adapt the Luke Blue to another color like Pink, Green, Purple or even a darker shade of Blue they might like the idea.

Excellent job with your photoshop skills! I've never experimented with density+ but you gave me a few ideas.

This is the closest I could come to a quilt on the blue color. I was able to get a "premium" quilt effect but the overall color darkened a lot. I used a pattern overlay and adjusted the transparency and size.

Yeah, it looks kinda like that here, too. There aren't too many patterns that are anywhere close to "Quilted wood" on photoshop. oh well....
