"Welcome to the addiction!" is now patented by Koogie2k......if used by anyone other than Koogie2k....you must mail him a US nickel for each time said/typed or signed.......

A WISE AND RESPECTED MAN TOLD ME:

"Do something nice for someone everyday. Don't let your head hit the pillow until you do something nice for someone each day." I hope I don't let him down.

The new(current) Billiy Idol album is AMAZING. The sound Steve has is hugue and the best rock sound i have heard in a long time....bold statement, but (for me) true.

I have one of his early ('86) model II's and it rocks. Found the origional HB pup too week so replaced it with a screamin demon......wow.

The Flamenco-a-go-go cd is out of this world.

There was a signed chrome plated axis floating around for a while.

    Cheers,

    Jonny

I have his old hamer model (with kahler... not floyd). cool guitar, bad finish.

and I can't believe nobody's mentioned the 3 words that EVERYBODY should associate with steve stevens:

black light syndrome !! that album is EXCELLENT!! the way I understood it, steve recorded it with EVH models. bozzio on drums... levin on bass... but the second BLS album just didn't have the same... "thing" that the first did - but once you hear # 1, it's pretty obvious that it's a hard act to follow.
"...Mr Nut, the kind hearted manager here, convinced me that to make a living by publicly displaying my deformity lacked dignity.... So now I carry other people's luggage."

I have him playing on one song from the album Submarine by one of the Bissonnette brothers (the drummer----Matt I believe or Gregg???) and that song rocks. He even pulled out his ray gun during the solo which had me grinning from ear to ear.

Steve Stevens has always been one of my favorites. I picked up the new Guitar World buyer's guide and it has a cd-rom with it that has Steve demoing the Fender G-DEC amp which he's using backstage. The guy's chops are amazing, he was shredding, and he also played some great sounding jazz too, what a player.

    Thumbs up

Steve Stevens is an incredible player. For me, he is up there with EVH and Hendrix. Killer chops and great tone!
