    Jon, Help, intonation problem !

I bought an axis and the guitar is well setup, plays smooth, pus are very fine setup too and stay in ture right.

Except a little intonation problem at high E.

Open string and harmonic stay fixed in tune, but fretted note is flat and there's no room for ajustment in bridge, all saddle space are gone.

I notice that the neck seems shimmed, or I am wrong.

Could be this shimming or I nedd an trusrod little adjust ?

Neck is fine with little relief, just sufficient.

    Look at the pictures.

    try another string.....
sometimes even a new string that has a flaw in it will not intonate......(although it's a more common occurance w/ wound strings)......it's worth a try.....

there is a tilt in the neck angle even when no shims are used. the angle is required.....

Yep, try a new string. I've had a few dead strings before, real whacky stuff!
