    EBMM Axis SS Strings

    Howdy all,
    good to be back up.
    Well, busy busy weekend anyway.

I won the Axis SS on Friday and then a lead GWDavis (thanks mate ) gave me originally, which was my first desire) actually got back to me on Saturday after had bought the other OMG!!!!!!!!

Anyway, for first time, was selling few things on Evilbay and they were going rather well. So jumped on the original guitar too

So, in space of two days have TWO EB MM Axis SS one in Lavendar (lol) and one of the Emengenza Special's

Now, what strings do you guys use on your trem equipped Axis? I would like a nice tone but am not that familiar with Trem units and am not sure what sizes I can use without problems.

Thanks alot, sizes and makes of strings (suggestions) are greatly welcomed

    Contrats on a nice guitar.

Use whatever strings you like. I prefer EB Super Slinky (9's) on mine.

If you change the guage drastically from what's on there you may have to tweak the truss rod a bit to compensate for the string pull on the neck.

What guage are they? And what's on there right now?

You may need to adjust the neck anyway. Who knows when it was last set up, and what the humidity difference is going to be like from its location to yours.

    Ummm,
    I am getting prepared.
Both are taking a roard trip from previous owners (in transit).
I dunno bout the Lavendar one but imagine the Ermengenza one is as factory as it is still new with tags.
