i'm tempted too, but to get parts, could be tough?

the holes in the body for the floyd posts must be damaged. that could be a tough fix!?

the pickups are there though....and the tuners are there...are the whammy bars still available through EB?

you would just need to attend to the floyd, got a 500k potometer and wire it back up.

    Could be cool?

Assuming the hardware parts could be had (and I don't see why they couldn't)....heck, you could have the post holes plugged with hardwood and redrilled, that'd be fine. What concerns me would be the neck. If there's mildew(!!) on the body, what kind of humidity hell has that poor neck been through? Truly a shame...

"My brothers got an awesome said of tools. We can fix it!"

At that price, I might take a swing. I could restore that guitar.

Hey, I've bid on it - it's worth it as a cool project.

The bridge problem i think I've seen before, It was an old kramer the post had come out of body and the muppet had filled it in and then topped with silocon (yeah like you'd put on bathrooms!!!)

Anybody think it'll sell for alot ??

Last time it brought over a grand, which was charity IMO. I'd be concerned that it sold, probably was shipped and received, and sent back for undisclosed problems. Too much time has elapsed to believe the buyer just didn't pay - I'd guess that it has some undisclosed issues. Caveat Emptor...or however you spell that.

If I had anything but basic skill with guitar repair/setup I'd go for it. Anyone want to help me out if I took it?

If you're gonna buy it, make sure the neck is straight! One thing that is definitely irreplaceable is a neck with that lovely little scribble on the headstock!!
