    Scott.
    the Y2D smokes the JP.
    sad but true!
don´t get me wrong, the JP is a fine guitar and i love it. especially the piezo system is excellent and the neck is ideal for fast soloing but the Y2D with its poplar body has so much punch, it´s awesome.

    hard to deside!
i love the EVH. i own it since 1995 and since than it is my main guitar.
the neck is fantastic, the overall sound is great. it is a rocker, no matter.

the JP6 was the guitar i wanted for 2 or 3 years and last year i ordered it.
it is also a fantastic guitar, but i it will never be my No.1 gutiar.
we play a lot of "classic" hardrock tracks and the JP6 is a "heavy" sounding guitar with a lot of attack.
as mentioned above, great for soloing. (what else does John do with it? )

3 weeks ago i tried the Y2D and felt in love right at that moment i picked it up.
now i play the Y2D the most of the time.
it is o.k. so, because i want to spare the EVH a bit.
so the Y2D is a perfect completion to the EVH.

but to say which one is defently my No.1 is really hard.
if i hade 6 arms and 6 hands, i would play all my 3 balls at the same time - for shure!

and yes, it was seventies theme last night.

Your Y2D looks sh!t hot, EBMM and SM really outdid themselves with this guitar, just looks wise, if it plays half as good as it looks, it will be a awesome guitar. I'm thinking of picking one up.

    That Y2D looks stunning.

No, Steve noticed the difference in height compared to the regular model. When you watch him play he rest's his pinky on the scratchplate a lot.

Yep, that Y2D smokes. For sure.

I wonder how it'd look with no pickguard, but with the screws in the holes, forming an outline of an imaginary pickguard.
