first post and Luke question

Yikes... 3-5 months? Guess I will have to improvise a little and fix up my strat mutt until then eh? (it needs new PU's, a new pickguard because my little sister colored all over the white one with a black magic marker, and some soldering around the input jack). I will have to call my buddy to see if they still have that Luke around. I am willing to bet that they do not. I understand that they are handmade and it takes time for a great instrument to be built so I guess I will just have to wait and be patient.

Dont do the Carvin man, I've heard many a people that were dissapointed with them. The Luke is an amazing guitar and the craftsmenship is far superior to other comapnies. I respect other companies, but literally EBMM make them with greater attention to detail. The time it takes is roughly around 3months, but it could be longer or shorter. I ordered mine at the end of January and I got it around mid April or somethin like that. You should also concider Saphire Black. It is a pearl black color which is VERY cool on a Luke.

+1 re: the Carvin vs. the Luke. As a former owner of a DC127, I can definitely agree with that statement, having played a luke. The carvin is not bad, just didn't feel or sound as good as the luke.
