    Yes, I do. Actually I prefer the birds eye maple neck, and I don't like the painted neck..so I use every guitar and meantime I am thinking about the painted neck modification..

    I wouldn't mod the neck on the BFR if I were you..you'll kill the resale value. And because it has a mahogany neck, it needs some kind of finish on it.
