1990 EBMM Silhouette, former owner swaped the bridge PU for a Seymour Duncan PGP.

Question: this neck feels like very lightly finished, is early EBMM neck finished or former user DIYed it or it's factory sealed?

Going by the fact you have a 6 bolt Silo, I would say the neck finish is factory.

Thanks! About that, I do prefer the lightly finished neck, unfinished necks do feel great but get hideious when the dirt got into wood frain. I hope EBMM could give both finished and unfinished options!

I'm not the owner but I'll refer you to Tim O'Sullivan's reply to the owner a couple of posts above (post #3124) - those early 6-bolt Silos had a satin lacquer finish on the neck. That type of finish sometimes "polishes" to that glossy finish with use.
