    Thanks guys, I'm completely smitten. Haven't been able to put it down yet. Best out of the box tone I've ever had on any guitar, especially overdriven, and no need to think about changing pups. Starting to get used to the neck, which is pretty small for me, but just "feels" wonderful. Had to run it over to my tech this morning because I couldn't get the piezo to work. Turns out I had 3 dead batteries lying around, felt pretty stupid :-) Still not a wasted trip, he cleaned and dressed the frets, oiled the neck, did his usual master set up and she is now absolutely perfect. I haven't been this thrilled about a guitar in a looonnnggg time.

Vinny Burns, an old pal from Manchester, UK saw my 'Blue Sunburst' original shot I posted on FB from early yesterday evening (no sun - come on, it's England), and as today's been sunny, thought I'd take the opportunity to join in here with an image that really shows the quilt-top.

    Here´s my brand new Axis. Got it yesterday and already loving it. Beats everything else I´ve tried when it comes to playability. What a nice neck and fast fretboard:-)
    Really looking forward to exploring it more the next days.
