Man, I am all over that thing.

I remember a while back a thread talking about some specs we'd like on a guitar, and that one fits my bill. Almost perfectly, minus the mahogany body.

    SPOILER ALERT:

Man, the live performances "The Spirit Carries On" always bring a tear to my eye. It's a little bit more special with this guitar too.

Rob, were you at the Hollywood show (The first date) for the SFAM tour? I get shivers down my spine when I listen to that song and remember that moment... WOW.... that was simply great.

That quilted top is absolutely awesome! I want one so bad in Blue.
    Later!

I was at the fairly recent London 'Dark Side Of The Moon' show, when Theresa Thompson joined then again for TSCO.

A very rare and special moment. She is fantastic!!

No. Wasn't at the Hollywood show. Unfortunately, I was living in Asia at the time of that tour. Otherwise, I probably would have made the Roseland show.

I would have loved to have seen them do TSCO live with Theresa in London. Heck...I would have loved to have seen them do DSOTM. At least, I have both DSOTM and TSCO with Theresa on DVD.

I thought it just had the mahogany tone block. I thought the rest of the body was basswood with a maple top.

Intrigued to see BP's Lukeouette that he's planning to give Lucious.

It was a tremendous show. I was lucky enough to be about 7 or 8 rows from the front, dead centre - about the best position possible IMO, with excellent views of the whole band.

Having been lucky enough to see Floyd perform the whole DSOTM back in'94, I can say that DT were possibly even better. The heavier moments being slightly heavier and therefore more to my particular taste.

TT doing the Great Gig in the Sky is also a special moment that I will long remember.

the body is made of alder with a mahoghany tone block and then a maple top. This is the best sounding body we have ever made. I keep telling people that the 20th Sil is our best effort to date.
