    WEIRD looking Axis/EVH on the used guitar center site. About 4 guitars from the bottom. Anyone know what this might be? Almost looks fake.

    Check serial number but this could be either an in between production EVH / axis from late 95' or a Japanese axis ex

    Looks like an Axis neck w/o the EVH sig, but EVH body style.

    What makes it look like an Axis neck, the lack of the EVH sig?

    By that rationale, wouldn't the lack of the Axis name also mean it's not an Axis neck?

    I hadn't noticed the lack of the axis name too! what are your thoughts? A fake or an EVH missing the sig, or Axis missing the axis name? I am not that far from Cherry Hill. If anyone is interested, maybe I can scoot on over there to grab the serial, or just give that GC a call.

    it is an Axis EX, made only for Japan.
    No sig at all, but an Axis model anyway
