    I'm not real fond of the painted neck on the Petrucci BFR's. One of the main attractions for me on the regular Petrucci guitars is the birdseye neck. I like seeing all the birds wink at me while I play

    I agree. The natural neck is a definate plus with the standard JP, but with the added tops, tone block, and push/pull pup tap of the BFR, it may be tolerable. However, I really don't like the 12th fret inlay... I would prefer that to be an option... Just my opinion...

    I think the BFR inlay looks very classy. However the LE07 inlay is not my thing but thats what makes it a LE so its not a big deal

    This thread averages 105.95 views per reply. The other thread averages 88.9 views per reply. Not much difference in the long run, other than the people who view the Luke thread are 2% more likely to reply, whereas here they just look.....
