Jan 2007 Guitar World Petrucci interview

    Hi there
A UK forumite writes - Does anyone have the ability to scan the tab for JP's lesson in the Jan 2007 edition of Guitar World magazine that they could email/PM me?

I'm especially interested in the arpeggio exercise which looks great!

I know this may not be strictly correct from a copyrighting perspective but it is not an easy magazine to get in the UK.

I'm sure if you ask your newsagent he'll check out his supplier and probably get you a copy each month.
My newsagent has retired and gone now - he would always check out the availability of mags for me.

yeah ive been getting GW for like 14 years, but when they started the cd-roms i was so happy, but it was just as a trial, then you have to subcribe to get the cd-rom. though they do chuck it in once or twice a year sometimes, but i got sick of not getting it regularly so i subscribed. I still think its a very average mag, i think out of Guitar One and Guitar World the latter is the angry young guitarist mag. Guitar One has LOADS of varied stuff to learn, and not much emo teenage crap. i look through GW and i dont know any of the bands, they are very metal it seems.

+1 on angry young guitarist comment.

Got sick of GW years ago, with too many d*cks on the cover chucking stupid heads as if to say "Growwwl.......... look at me, I'm in a thrash band and I am a very scary, evil monster"

And they'd be lucky to weigh 50kg dripping wet !

Then you'd get Dave Mustaine trying to be the Grandad of all very scary, evil monsters..........

Till now, I think Guitar Techniques is still the best guitar magazine for lessons.

I love collecting lessons from the various mags. But man I'm years behind in learning them ... between the the Steve Morse tabs/lessons and the Petrucci Rock Discpline vid I've got more than a lifetime of practice ahead of me ...
