Had an awesome gig last night!

We headlined a show at the local rock/metal bar and had a great turn out (350-400 according to the door).

I finally got my CBP JP7 setup the way I like. There was never anything wrong with it, it's just my PRB JP7 was so worn in and setup the way I like, had all kinds of good mojo! But with my PRB JP7 needing work now (new nut, fret dress, volume pot and 3-way) I've had to rely on my CBP as my main.

Well last night it was great! We sold a lot of merch and had a lot of people hang out talking to us. I even had some 18yr old girl come up to me after the show and tell me one of my solos was so emotional it almost made her cry!

A little cheesy I guess, but really cool for someone to tell you nonetheless.

Careful now! Some '18 year old' girls have slightly dodgy maths!

Right on, there's nothing like playing to a packed house and have people really groove on what you're doing !!

    Awesome!

Just think what that experience will be like with a BFR JP with a beautiful flamed maple top!!!

And be careful, most "18" year old girls still have 2 or 3 years of high school left - be sure to I.D.! No, I'm not kidding.

Well she gave me a hug, I was all nasty sweaty too.

Someone filmed most of/all of it and there were lots of random pictures taken, once I get something I'll post'em.

I guess every gig I just hope to connect with someone. Hope that someone just "gets it". I figure if you establish that with at least one person every time you play, you did good.

Hehe no Madonna, although covering Frozen heavy would be cool.

The Youtube link in my sig is for an older song, I posted a link to a newer song we'd just finished recording ourselves here: http://www.ernieball.com/forums/musi...ight=song+band

We actually get a lot heavier than that, there's quite a bit of variety.

Check out the MP3 in the other link.
