    MM90's vs. single coils

    Hey guys,

I was wondering if someone could compare MM90's to single coils. Are they similar style pickups? Do they have the similar sounds? Do you recommend one over the other.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Love the cream coloured ones - I wish they would do (metal) chrome/Gold covers though (not plastic).

3 MM90s in the AL sound heaps different than the 2 MM90's in an ASS. in the AL they really sound like beefier single coils, with a 5 way switch. In the ASS they are way bluesier and dirtier, and you only have a 3 way switch so the clean stratty tones arent on offer.

think about it , then get an AL.
My name is Rob and I'm an AL-coholic!
The MM90 AL is the most underrated axe on the planet!

I buy my balls from the number one EBMM dealer in Australia, the all round nice guy and legendary Colin! His website is www.guitarplanet.com.au Give him a call to order your balls!!!!!

If you guys could stop bringing this up, I could stop thinking about the Axis Sport MM90/piezo I sold (stupidly) to Mr. Bigue to pay for home repairs.
