    Some questions about a luke

    Hey guys,

its been a long time since I played a Luke, but I tried an older silhouette HSS with the trem that came out before the newest ( dont know the name).....
I recognized that the silo had a nice attack and clear and crisp sounds.

Does the Luke have the same sharp attack and crispin sound?
Another question is, what happens when the batteries go low with the pickups?
Does it lower the output or is the signal cut at a certain point?

    Thanks

My Luke would just die when the batteries life ended, but i reckon i noticed a fuzzy kinda sound too before that, but it could be just me!

The tone of the Luke is very crisp and clean, but not as raw and edgy as a silo.

I assumed the Luke would have more attack, due to the EMG's. I guess I assumed wrong!

Cant comment on the silo since mine is a totaly different beast than the one you mention but as far as the Luke you can get great tones out of a Luke clean, gritty, distotrted just depends on your equipment, as far a the battery, if it gets weak you will lose output and the tone can get fuzzy or muted, the best way to prevent that is to always unplug the cable from the guitar output when not playing and I replace all my batteries every two months whether they need it or not.

The Luke has plenty of attack.
