    That bridge PU actually is not new to me, unless MM90s have been changed or redeveloped since 2001. My Axis Sport also carries MM90s and I L.O.V.E. the sound.
    Well, the Sport is an ash body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard construction with lots of twang. The Super Sport is ash, too, but with a maple top and mine will have a maple neck/fretboard, so I can't wait to see what the difference in sound will be...

    SOOOOOOOO curious !

    Wow, that's a great score.

    I have to say, my Axis Sport w/MM90s (pic yet to be posted) is getting all of my playing time these days. For some reason I never bonded with them before, now I can't imagine why- it's just such an incredible sounding guitar.

    Sadly no. The money was on the dealer's account on monday already (we have the same bank - even the same branch office...), but sadly I did not even get a "hello" or anything yet.

    Well, you all know that I do have sort of a hand for the most tricky and difficult deals around EBMM guitars - just remember that nightmare around my pearl lavender Silo Special from Canada... currently Mick is taking care of the neck, fretboard and new frets...

    Cool, dealer named it "amber", from the first pics I would have said "trans orange", now it is rather "trans gold"...

    Yeehaw folks,

    late yesterday night I finally got to amp-check my new ASS.
    Being the tinkerer I am I first of all ruined the tone pot when trying to replace the ("ugly") plastic knobs with shiny brite chrome T-style knobs. Guess what - they didn't match and me forcing one on the tone control blew that one up...
    Nevermind. Replaced the tone ctrl. and tried on different Tele knobs - works!

    ...woo hoo - on to the amps...
    DAMN, this thing rocks even more than my AS MM90... is THAT maybe why they call it the Axis SUPER Sport ?!?!?
    Loud and open MM90 sound with just a tiny bit less treble than the AS. Great clean, crunch & OD sounds. I even messed with some high gain which sounded pretty cool, too - I wouldn't have expected it to at first. Coooool !

    Cannot say anything else than THIS THING FRIGGIN' ROCKS ! ! !

    ...well - like any EBMM after all - but who am I telling...
