    Just found out I'll be playing to ~5,000 people!

    My band got selected to open for the headliner (Operator: http://www.myspace.com/operatormusic ) at the KISS 99.5 Margarita Pour-Off here in San Antonio on August 18th.

    Essentially the local radio station here that's hosting the event submitted songs of their favorite local metal/rock bands and the event organizer chose us for the best spot (short of being the headliner)!

    We JUST got the gig confirmation Saturday, so we have two weeks to put together a setlist and rehearse our asses off! I think we actually get an hour to play too.

    I can't wait! This is a hell of an opportunity for us.

    I'm sure I'll have a ton of pics, maybe even some video and yes, I will be sporting my BFR's.

    Wow, that's fabulous!! Nervousness goes away from me if I know all the material forward and backward. Like you said, practice your a** off and you should be fine. 5,000 sounds like alot but it may also seem like one big ocean.

    I've played in front of a few thousand before, but this will most likely be the biggest, especially with this band.
