Amp and Cab Question

I'm looking to buy another head. (Small handwired head) And want to run it with my Orange PPC2x12 cab. I want to have both heads hooked up to the cab at the same time so all I would have to do is turn one head off flick switch if need be and turn head 2 on without having to play cable monkey every time I want to play the other amp. I assume I need a switch of some sorts but what? I know I can't have them both powered on at the same time ect. I'm having a hard time explaining this so I made this diagram

Or is it as simple as using the two inputs in the back of the cab?

DStockden is right on the money. I've been using a Radial Headbone VT to run two heads into a single cab, for a couple of years now. It does exactly what they say it does. It's quiet and quick. I've had no trouble at all with my rig. Just read their information thoroughly and decide which unit will work for you. M. S.

The Radial looks like exactly what I want but I don't need it to load the head when it is not in use. I just need to be able to use two heads with one cab. At different times. only one on not two.

If you've got the signal going into both heads at the same time (by using a Y cable, or something similar) then you'll need to load the heads, either via the cab, or a dummy load.

With a valve (tube) amp, you need to give it a load at all times when it's got a signal going to it.

I understand what you guys are saying but I don't plan to use them at the same time nor have them turned on at the same time. I think all I need is a 1/4" selector switch. I don't need a switch that will put a load on the other head because it wouldn't even be powered on.
