    OT...the Band is practicing again

    Well after our bass player leaving us to go to a band w/ a chick singer......

    ......Maybe he thought he would get some since his wife is a B***H!!!!....anyway......

    Our band is starting to practice w/ a new bass player next week...thank god...i miss playing for those 3 hours every week at high volumes Get those new balls out and stir up some dust!!!

    Brentman, I envy you about those 3 hours high volume chickin-kickin every week as I don't get to do that at home (80-souls-village) where 100 watts on 4x12 would lift the roofs big time...
    Can't even run 30% without getting in trouble...

    Good on ya Brent. It can be frustrating some times. My band is like Spinal Tap the way we go through drummers ... ("they can't really dust for vomit ...")

    We've recently had a run-in with our drummer so we're going to replace him. And at the same time our bassist has decided to take a 4 month contract in the UK ... so now we have to look to replace both at the same time. At least we've got decent recordings of everything so we have stuff to pass of to new guys ... but we've had to turn down a bunch of gigs

    I'm telling ya ... we're this close to just showing up to gigs with a drum machine ...

    Point is ... just keep playing so long as it's fun. Everything else will fall into place.
