LUKE owners please post you piccies and sound clips for me!

    Hey guys,

So I went to the guitar store and got my mits on a LUKE and it totally blew me away! Its sort of a guitar i never really considered but I instantly loved the great playability and its comfy contours.

If you LUKE owners could post up some pics for us all to admire that would be great, also if anyone has any soundclips then it would be great to hear them.

What sort of music is everyone playing on them! ? !

    Hi Chris

I posted some pictures of my new BFR a couple of weeks ago. You can find them here: http://www.ernieball.com/forums/musi...australia.html. For some quick-and-dirty recordings, try this: DL's Ernie Ball MusicMan Ruby Burst BFR Luke

I play (or attempt to play ) a wide variety of stuff...from Mr Lukather and Satch stuff, through to Tommy Emmanuel tunes. I'm currently revising all the covers I used to play many years ago with a view to getting the old band back together (and that's quite an eclectic collection in it's own right...Midnight Oil, Talking Heads, Queen, Blues Brothers, Daddy Cool, and others far too embarrassing to mention...). The Luke is so versatile it will handle it all.

Can't say enough about how good the Luke is!

indeed, i've been playing some country, pop, jazz, rock and even drop d metal with my Luke..

Here's my crappy old guitar demo (homemade) Demo Clips, just using my Luke, AX1000G and Zoom 606, don't have enough budget for studio right know.. still Luke deliver the best tone ever. been playing with so many guitars ..and nothing compares to my Lukes. that's the truth .

I play pretty heavy music with it... Sevendust, Soundgarden, Godsmack, etc and this guitar is unbelievable.

    Hey guys

Funnily enough I actually got to get my mits on John Petrucci's personal 'Ball Family Reserve' backstage at Wembely Arena here in the UK. That guitar was smokin'! I love the JP guitars but I quite like more of a strat style neck. so the two guitars I really dig are the Luke and the Axis.

I always stayed away from EMG's as I associate them with too much power, like Metallica ans Slayer etc. However the Lukather sounded like a great strat on steroids!

I checked out teramaze! Got some great riffage going on!

the only Musicman dealer I go to in central london is Rockers, they have a great selection actually
and they are based on denmark street. They never really used to stock much Musicman stuff but recently they seem to be the most desirable rock axes hanging on the wall!

man I love that silver color!

Is that 7UP Green Color a special edition or something, Its quite far out! I bet it really stands out under the stage lights

As far as the holy grail goes, I have just started using Marshall's again for lead guitar! :-)
