New Distortion Pedal for my Luke!

    Allright, I admit it:

I had some serious GAS attack today and ordered myself a BOSS DS-1 Pedal with the Keeley ULTRAMOD. Can't wait for this little sucker to cross the Atlantic ocean and arrive here at my home...

This soundclips for this thing sounded KILLER on the Keeley website!

    Any experiences from fellow forumites?
What pedals do you use with your Balls?

    Wow.

I use an Xotic BB Preamp. I find that it does the overdrives and distortions that I need.

it's so dependant on the amp you use.... I tried a cheap Digitech Hot Head the other night with my old Marshall JMP.... and it sounded awesome.... with my Luke of course... you don't have to spend a fortune to get great tone... but I think pedals have to be matched to the amp and guitar... experiement until you find what works.... don't be concerned with price tags...
